"The artwork was inspired by Siquijor Island, its colors and nature. This is my rendition of a spot in Enrique Villanueva, Siquijor where the "Uela's three mangrove tree" is located. They seems to gather together and holding each other standing strong in the shallow sea. They speak to me of resilience and unity. That despite the difficult condition upon which these trees grew in, they persevere and survived for a very long time." — Totem Saa.
