On December 19, we proudly launched The Journey to the Orient’s Pearl, a coloring book that captures the magic of art, storytelling, and environmental awareness.
The event, held at The Henry Resort Dumaguete Gallery, marked a special milestone for Pinspired Art Souvenirs as it hosted its very first children’s art exhibition.

The atmosphere was alive with excitement as guests explored different zones of the exhibit. The Exhibition Area showcased the stunning original artworks by the talented 12-year-old artist, Anais Vera Salvarita, whose illustrations are featured in the book.

At the Video Stand, visitors learned more about Anais and the book’s writer, Kimberly Daphne Gari-Salvarita, through an inspiring video about their creative journey.

During the program, we shared the heartwarming story of how this project came to life. From Anais’s incredible one-month completion of 23 intricate illustrations to Kimberly’s storytelling inspired by her daughter’s art, the book truly is a collaborative masterpiece.

What makes this project even more meaningful is its mission: for every coloring book purchased, a donation copy will be sent to local schools and orphanages to inspire children and raise awareness about marine conservation.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this special event. A huge thank you to sir Jaime Ponce de León of The Henry Resort Dumaguete for providing the beautiful venue, and to our partners, including Foundation University Department of Fine Arts, Silver Reef Dive Resort, Ando’s Ice Cream, and many more, for making this project possible.

The publication of this coloring book was made possible with the support of: Mugna Gallery, Ando's Ice Cream, Silver Reef Dive Resort, Subida, Libraria Books, The Henry Resort Dumaguete, Foundation University, Finbar Dauin, Betzee and AOUIE Creative Corporation.
Kid's workshops:
As part of The Journey to the Orient’s Pearl project, we organized a series of interactive art workshops for children at The Henry Resort Dumaguete’s Art Gallery.
Designed for ages 3-6, these workshops introduced young participants to marine life through creative activities using glue, salt, and water droppers. Each session encouraged hands-on exploration, artistic expression, and sensory learning.

Through these workshops, we aimed to spark curiosity, nurture creativity, and build lasting memories for young artists while reinforcing the project’s mission of marine conservation awareness.
