Dyck "Deadlocks" Cediño
Dyck Cediño, born in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, has a unique and captivating artistic journey. With a background in BS Physics majoring in Computer Application, Dyck's curiosity led him to explore art in 2013. As people began showing interest in his designs for tattoos, he embarked on a journey of learning and honing his skills.
Dyck finds joy in working with various mediums, including pen and ink, acrylic, oil, and watercolor. However, his true passion lies in experimentation, constantly pushing the boundaries of his artistic expression.
Influenced by philosophy, psychology, and religion/spirituality, Dyck's artwork delves into profound subjects, inviting viewers to contemplate and engage with deeper meanings.
Dyck's artistic pursuits have taken him on a path of self-organization, hosting exhibitions and events in his old apartment. He has also participated in local group exhibitions such as Atoa (dakong balay), Manifest (mugna), Intention (shelter), and the online Artfairph2021 in Manila. Notably, Dyck recently showcased his work in a solo exhibition titled "Everlast" at Pintô Art Museum in Antipolo, Manila.
Through his unique perspective and unwavering dedication, Dyck Cediño continues to make a mark in the art world, captivating audiences with his thought-provoking and evocative creations.
