Purple Seaweed comes from the art of Chezka M Yap. Her art is a journey of trying to observe nature and its cycles and seasons while riding out the cycles and seasons of her own life. It’s an alchemy of places in her mind, actual places she’s been to and memories with renewed perspective. Her art tries to honor things she loves or finds beautiful.

She works mostly with gouache and acrylic and she lives in Cebu with her husband, son and cat.
