Skye Benito
About artist:
Sabrina Skye Benito was born in Metro Manila, and raised in Bais City, Negros Oriental. She started exploring art during her teenage years, mostly using graphite and acrylics. As her experimentations with other mediums progressed through the years, she found that watercolors and oils are her favorites.
Her administration for a refined technique that recalls the past but with a modern viewpoint, and her love for the classical and fantasy has greatly influenced her art. She constantly explores new art styles – from anime to hyperrealism, and her current style fascination is Surrealism. Her works are often described as dreamy and whimsical.
In October 2022, she and her partner opened a Café and Gallery by the Dumaguete Boulevard called Arté. Their mission for the gallery is to help young local emerging artists to have a platform for their art and to help them grow as artists.
We take great pride in having Skye Benito as one of our esteemed artists for the Art Craft Book project, as her dreamy illustrations come to life on our splash-proof sticker sheets, adding a touch of enchantment to any creative endeavor.
