Elizabeth "Elias" Siojo graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in Painting at the University of the Philippines, QC. She has held several one man shows including Cultural center of the Philippines. She moved on to ceramics such as terracotta clay which she discovered as naturally sourced in San Juan, Batangas where she and her husband had been living intermittently.
Her creative and spiritual inspiration come from the natural beauty of the San Juan and Lobo coastlines, mangrove forests and its abundance of birds. She has exhibited her terracotta creations at the Manila Art Fair 2023, and at the Tahanan Pottery Studio in Quezon City. Her paintings were exhibited recently at the ROX in BGC as a fundraiser. An avid birdwatcher, she supports conservation of Philippine birds, mangroves and nature conservation. She is serving as Vice-President of the San Juan Artist's Group. Elizabeth Siojo has been a scuba diver since 1990 and has a PADI Divemaster training experience.
She has joined her husband in several diving expeditions in Batangas, Palawan and Sulu Sea and support endeavors for the protection of endangered marine animals as well as educational campaigns for Philippine marine wildlife.
