We recently took an exciting step toward empowering local schools by donating copies of The Journey to the Orient’s Pearl coloring book to Maluay Elementary School in Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental. This is just the beginning of a larger mission to inspire creativity, environmental awareness, and a love for art among children in our community.
For every coloring book purchased, we’re committed to donating one to a local school. Each book is a masterpiece in itself — featuring stunning illustrations of endangered marine species in the Philippines by 12-year-old artist Anais Vera Salvarita. Her mother, Kim Daphne Salvarita, added a heartfelt story, making the book both educational and engaging for young readers.
But this initiative isn’t just about the books — it’s about sparking curiosity and awareness. We want the younger generation to learn about the importance of protecting marine life and expressing themselves through art.
We’re also inviting you to experience the magic behind these books at our art exhibition for kids, hosted at The Henry Resort Dumaguete Gallery. The exhibition features the original artworks from The Journey to the Orient’s Pearl and is open until February 18.
When you purchase a copy of this coloring book, you’re not only supporting this cause but also contributing directly to the children’s journey of creativity and environmental education. Plus, you can leave a heartfelt message for a child, making the experience even more special.
This is just the first of many donations we plan to make. With your support, we hope to bring this initiative to more schools, reaching even more children and inspiring them to dream big, create, and care for our planet.
Together, we can share the joy of art, learning, and giving. Let’s make a difference — one coloring book at a time.
